Seasonal wildlife tour
Avistamiento de Ballenas en Puerto Peñasco
Search the Mar de Cortés for migrating whales during Rocky Point's winter whale-watching season.
La experiencia
What makes Avistamiento de Ballenas en Puerto Peñasco worth choosing.
The details that matter most—from the atmosphere and route to what your group should expect on the day.
Winter brings migrating whales into the northern Mar de Cortés. This seasonal cruise leaves Puerto Peñasco to search responsibly for blows, tails and other signs of activity. Every departure is different: the crew uses local knowledge, but wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed.
Whale watching is seasonal, normally from January through mid-March. Trips remain off sale outside that window, and even in season sightings depend on natural migration and can never be guaranteed.

01When is whale season?+
The usual Rocky Point season runs from January into mid-March, but exact dates depend on migration and operating conditions.
02Are whale sightings guaranteed?+
No. Whales are wild animals, so no responsible operator can guarantee a sighting.
03¿Dónde nos encontramos?+
El punto de encuentro depende del operador y la salida. Tu confirmación incluye a map, arrival time and local contact details.
If the operator cannot run because of weather, a Capitanía de Puerto closure or another safety issue, the amount paid becomes a crédito de reservación válido por 12 meses instead of a reembolso en efectivo.
